Temporary NaNoWriMo hiatus announcement

Salutations, readers.

Due to the “celebration” of NaNoWriMo, the usual blog updates will be discontinued temporarily. I still might occasionally upload a short piece to entertain you, but my main drive will be trying to complete a short novel during this month. I already have decided on the setting, the characters and the main beat of the story, but these things usually change en route. It will be a completely new idea, unrelated to my blog or my weird contemporary fantasy erotica ongoing series, The Esoterotic Misadventures of Stuart Moot.

I hope you forgive the hiatus and enjoy its outcome, if I judge it good enough to share. See you next month. Happy November reading and/or writing!

Planar Pilgrims

Much is not yet known about the structure of our universe. While our scientific understanding of the nature of theoretical dimensions and complex quantum concepts grows with increasing celerity, there are yet many things we don’t understand. Other creatures, however, might experience reality from incredibly different points of view. Some of these beings might have earned this capabilities through study and technology, while others could very well grow with inherent talents or senses that open completely new possibilities for them. This, obviously, is all theory, but human folklore all over the world is filled with examples of creatures that cross into our world from other dimensions or planes of existence.

Eternal Companions

We came from beyond. From a place with no heat, with no cold. No height, no width, no depth. Just time and something else you wouldn’t understand. We had no bodies. We didn’t need them. We had no culture, no society, no need for friends nor family. We just came to be. But we had an active intellect, innate curiosity and something resembling eternal life. From within our world we were able to sense the imprints of other minds elsewhere, out of our reach. Some of us found a way to touch these minds, opening through them a gate to a different aspect of the cosmos. Most of our brethren followed.

The Devil's Due

“So,” Amitael finished after meticulously explaining his proposal, “this way everyone can end up happily gratified.”
“I don’t know,” said Ellen, desperately fighting her own unsatisfied urges. “Even if I were to trust you to keep your word…”
“You should,” interrupted the demon.
“Even if I did,” she continued, “I wouldn’t know what to do, and Catarina doesn’t need to finish… Doing… Well, that. You are obviously fully recovered,” she added, unable to look away from the demon’s mesmerising magenta member.

A Hell of an Overtime

Among the many unsolved metaphysical mysteries, the existence of an afterlife and its possible nature has always been one of the most obsessively studied. Both religious and agnostic scholars, from all over the world and from every age, have devoted their lives to answering a simple questions: Is there something beyond our worldly life?

The First Pact

Many thousands of years ago, when the Earth was almost just as old, but humanity had just been born, a young woman wandered around the wild, searching for something to eat. The recent hunting and foraging expeditions had not been very successful and her siblings and mother were starving. She had found only a few edible berries and roots in her usual route, so she ventured further into the forest. Even with the sun shining brightly above the treetops, the wild was difficult to navigate and soon she was lost in the eternal twilight of the woods. She sat on a rock to rest and a few moments later, out of nowhere, a big snake appeared and calmly approached her. Or something resembling a snake, rather.

Catarina's Plan

“Ellen, just relax and trust me, ok?” Catarina said to her friend. Even kneeling on the floor, she was almost as tall as her partner. The usually stoic young lady had just casually finished practicing oral sex on a demonic entity, yet this was the first time that she was feeling a bit insecure about the situation. She hoped that her face wouldn’t betray her feelings and continued talking to her friend. “This way we can finish faster.”

The Doppelgänger Dilemma

The Doppelgänger Dilemma
The existence of people unrelated by blood to individuals but with uncanny physical similarities to them is rarely disputed. There are thousands of examples in literature. So many that they have inspired myths of shape-shifters, mimics and dopplegängers in folklore all around the globe. However, most of the time the resemblance is merely skin-deep, simply a matter of general body shape, facial structure and close observation of popular fashions. Other times, when the likeness seems to be more difficult to explain, there is usually some secret genealogical reason. Many twins have met their long-lost or unknown siblings this way. Almost every instance of these tales has a perfectly mundane explanation. Almost.

Another Day at the Office

Another Day at the Office
Isaac opened his eyes. The yellowish light of the fluorescent hanging from the ceiling of the office hurt his eyes. He had fallen asleep on his desk, again. It happened a lot lately. The dreams had been pretty good, though. In his dreams he was living like a king once more. In dreamland he only had to spend a few hours each day in meetings and phone calls, and then he was free to spend the time golfing, chatting with the elite and enjoying all kind of delicacies and other luxuries. This time he had even managed to meet two beautiful, and  inexplicably nude, young women, but he had woken up just as things were getting interesting. Shame.

A Hard Bargain

A Hard Bargain
“Nevertheless, I gladly accept your conditions,” continued the demon, proudly displaying his massive magenta man meat in front of its prospective handlers. “You make me cum twice and I’d gladly help you with your problem. This will probably be more comfortable if you let me out of the circle and we relocate to the bed,” he proposed, pointing to the double bed that took up almost a quarter of the old cottage, “but you are officially in charge until my demands are met,” he added, licking his lips with his blue serpentine tongue and putting arms behind his back.

Truly Binding Contracts

Truly Binding Contracts

There are several universal laws, so powerful and so pervasive that they are obeyed by reality itself. Most of these laws have been studied and defined in relatively simple terms by scientists. However, there are several other laws that seem inescapable for us all but haven’t been so exhaustively researched. One of this laws has less to do with physics and electromagnetism and more to do with supernatural pacts and agreements.

I.O.U.

I.O.U.

Isaac Wechsler passed away on a hospital bed surrounded by his family. His wife, Alma, the love of his life, was too sad to cry. His older son, Tobias, was not sad enough. He never felt too attached to his hard-working father. Nevertheless, he held Oscar’s hand and patted his back, trying to console his sibling. The young man was crying profusely, trying to process his loss. He had been always doted on by his father and the idea of losing him seemed unreal. Ana, the middle child, looked at the scene from the door, resenting the frequent fights she had had with her parents during the recent years, repressing her tears and her desire to leave the hospital and go back to her girlfriend.

Demon on Demand

Demon on Demand

On a small cabin in a forest near Lee, Massachusetts, two young women were dancing awkwardly around a tarpaulin that covered most of the floor of the only room of the diminute wooden building. On the tarpaulin some runes and a pentagram had been traced using pig blood, and five lit black candles had been carefully placed on the points of the star. A semi-decent rendition of supposedly satanic chants, delivered by a cheap pair of speakers, filled the air. The two women were wearing just their birthday suits and cheap makeup. They had been planning this ritual for months and had been taking the whole endeavour quite seriously, all things considered, but after about thirty minutes of prancing around they were starting to feel silly. However, just as one of them was about to voice her reservations about the project, something started to happen inside the cabin.

foolproofrituals.onion

foolproofrituals.onion

In the hidden recesses of the dark web—a series of urls that can only be accessed using specific software or having special authorisations—people all over the world share a wealth of information and offer all kinds of services. Most of the activity in the dark web is either illegal or immoral, but also incredibly mundane. There are, however, a few notable exceptions. One of this exceptions is the elusive webpage commonly referred to as foolproofrituals.onion due to its contents and its alleged accessibility through the relatively popular anonymous communication software.

Brief Black Truffle Fever

Brief Black Truffle Fever

November 13th, 1998. Hundreds of adult inhabitants of four small towns in the U.S. suddenly start feeling sick, showing symptoms like abdominal pain, muscle cramps, headache and fever. Most of those affected by this unexpected illness overcrowded the local medical centres of the small municipalities and nearby cities. Worryingly, the symptoms seemed to match those of typhoid fever, which made the CDC recommend immediate quarantine to the different clinics and physicians. However, there was no official warning issued to the public, possibly to avoid panic, although conspiracy theorists believe otherwise.

A Short Story About Sarah

A Short Story About Sarah

Sarah loved her parents very much and always behaved well. They took good care of her, prepared delicious meals and told her the best stories before naptime. Her dad worked on a farm and her mother was a dressmaker. They lived on a beautiful house on a field, not very far from the big city. They had a very old dog named Hopper that slept on a small house in the front yard. They were a happy family.

How to Kiss an Orc

How to Kiss an Orc

Orcs are fiery, faithful and very physical lovers once you gain their trust and affection. They are, however, considered untrustful, unruly and uncivilised, although one can hardly blame them. Even in the current age of peace and cohabitation, some of the enmities of old shape our society. And, sadly, orcs are still believed to be violent savages by many and, subsequently, are often feared and marginalised. Most scholarly institutions refuse to accept even the most brilliant orcish individuals, they seldom are recruited into law enforcement and only exclusively orcish communities seem to have orcish civil leaders. They are, in short, second-class citizens in most of the realms.

The Butt of All jokes

The Butt of All Jokes

This strange piece of modern art was an ultra-realistic life-like reproduction of a pair of  well-tanned and clean-shaven human buttocks mounted on a piece of wood that looked very much like the base for a hunting trophy. A bronze plaque just below the aforementioned asscheeks read “Bum Doe”, which was the name usually given to the work when it was exposed in art galleries all over the world. The material used to create the perky but androgynous artificial derriere was believed to be based on medical polymers, since both the way it allegedly felt to the touch and the suppleness of the piece were almost identical to human skin and flesh.

Below the Vineyard

Below the Vineyard

Our family has a house near the mountains. Over a century old, built with stone, wood and adobe. It has been very well kept and modern commodities, like tap water and electricity, had been gradually added to the ancient one-floor building. On the front yard we keep a vegetable garden and a chicken coop and on the back of the house there is a trail that leads to the family vineyard. It is relatively small, but most years it bears enough grape to make about a dozen bottles of wine. Up until now mom and me stayed at our flat in town during the week and visited grandpa each weekend. We were a small family, but a reasonably happy one. I never knew my father and my grandmother died a year before I was born, but I always felt well loved.

Peccata minuta

Peccata minuta

I was distracted looking at the colourful stained glass windows when Alex and Danny pulled me into the small wooden cubicle. It startled me, but Alex muffled my protests with a well timed french kiss. Danny, meanwhile, had unceremoniously started massaging my breasts over my clothes. It was immediately obvious what they intended to do inside the the overcrowded confessional. I already knew that Alex had a specific kink about public places but Danny joining was admittedly unexpected.

The Dream Dungeon

The Dream Dungeon

Dreams are still very much a mystery. None of the theories about why or how they form have been properly proved by science. However, for centuries some groups and individuals have learned how to control and exploit this neurological phenomena. Using several techniques these so-called lucid dreamers are able to realise when they are inside a dream and, once they do, they become able to modify the parameters of their oneiric productions. Depending on the skill of the dreamer, different levels of control are possible. Novices usually manage only to change small aspects of the environment or characters, while veterans are theoretically able to have god-like power over their dreams. They can change not only the different scenery and characters, they can even manipulate the physical laws of their inner worlds.

Kevin's Last Hunt

Kevin's Last Hunt
Kevin, Lord of the hunt. Destroyer of gyms. Collector of beasts. Kevin, the most admired boy on the playgroundsfor almost a full week!, had finally met his match, his Moby Dick, his nemesis, his ultimate prey. Kevin, with some logistic support from his parents, had managed to capture every creature available in his county except for the elusive icy water monster that, like the famous Nessie, was often seen lurking around bodies of water, but always evaded capture. But Kevin was known for his tenacious nature and unrelenting ambition to be the very best, so for three straight days he spent his afternoons walking around the lake, apparently impervious to the scorching heat, while his father devoted his attention to fishing regular, and often ridiculously tiny, fishes.

The Olympian Lover

The time of champions came and went in a flash, as it always does. It never lasts as long as I’d like. I’ve always been enamored by the Olympics, since I was only a few years old. I was mesmerised by the grandeur of the ceremonies, captivated by the spectacle of the competition and overwhelmed by the subrogated feelings of triumph. Then I inevitably grew up and, while my childish fascination with the games continued, I started to develop a deeper, more mature, very different appreciation for the brave souls that took part on the contest.

The Rib of Remus

There are very different versions and tales of the legend of Romulus and Remus. In one of those stories Remulus had his brother killed after he mockingly jumped over the outline where defensive walls were to be built to protect the city of Rome, an act that was perceived as a crime of lèse-majesté, a rebellious display of contempt against the sovereignty of the place. That particular tale is the responsible for the most popular nickname of this artifact.

A Brief Introduction

A Brief Introduction

Salutations, prospective readers! I welcome you to this little literary experiment of mine. During these last years I've devoted some of my free time to the production of short pieces of fiction. Most of them in the form of standalone or episodic stories, some using less usual formats. All of them just because I enjoyed practising creative writing in English (not my first language). After sharing some of them with my S.O. and friends, I decided to self-publish some of my weird erotic stories digitally (links on the sidebar). Now I intend to share some of my other works with everyone interested in reading them through this humble blog.
